Alexa McQueen-Turner - Solicitor

Alexa is the sole director of McQueen Turner Solicitors, and she is a solicitor with 15 years' experience practising in residential conveyancing, will drafting and Lasting Powers of Attorney. She works with Karen Matschy, her assistant,  Julie Alexander our receptionist and Sidra Ahmed our probate paralegal. Ours is a very small team and we strive to be approachable and efficient in our dealings with yourselves when contacting the office.

Our team has over 15 years of collective experience in delivering high quality work in all matters relating to residential conveyancing.

We have three members of the team who may work on your matter. Regardless of who works on your matter, they will be supervised by Alexa McQueen-Turner, Partner and sole solicitor at the firm.

Alexa McQueen-Turner – Solicitor and Director

Alexa is the solicitor in our office and has more than 15 years' experience in residential conveyancing. Alexa has been working in this area since she qualified and has helped hundreds of families and individuals move house. Alexa also deals with drafting wills and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Alexa qualified as a solicitor in 2005 after obtaining her degree in Politics from the University of Essex. She completed her training contract at Lawrence Hamblin Solicitors and worked at different firms before being asked to return to A C B Hurst & Co when Mr Hurst decided to retire. The firm's name was changed to McQueen Turner Solicitors after the death of Mr Hurst.

Karen Matschy – Assistant to Alexa McQueen-Turner

I work as Alexa McQueen-Turner’s Assistant in Conveyancing.  I am responsible for providing quotations, opening client files, completing the identity verification requirements and then preparing applications to HM Land Registry once matters are completed and finalising the files for archiving.

Julie Alexander – Legal Secretary

First point of contact when visiting or telephoning the office. Can arrange appointments, deal with enquiries and pass to relevant person.

Sidra Ahmed – Probate Paralegal

I am a Probate Paralegal having joined the firm in October 2019. I have completed my law degree and deal with all matters in the administration of an Estate, including taking Clients instructions, preparing papers to apply for Probate, obtaining the Grant of Probate and distributing the Estate in accordance with the Will.
